Steps to Setting up Time and Attendance
There are 3 steps to set up Time and Attendance on BizEdge:
Step 1: Creating your Business Working days and hours To create your business work hours, you’d need to click on the Time and Attendance app on your dashboard. Click on settings to input your working days and hours then save
Step 2: Setting up Location Exit the Time and Attendance app and click on the People App. Click on settings in the people app and then on location. On the location page, input your location name e.g. Ikeja and input a specific address e.g. 1, Olaniyan close, Abule, Ikeja.
If you can’t find your specific location, use the nearest address or landmark to you. If you have more than one location, create as many locations as you have before moving on to the next step. Once you’re done creating a location, you can now go ahead to the final step.
Step 3: Assigning a location to an employee Click on the People tab and select an employee. Select the employee of choice and click on the edit button. Click on the job details and select a location. You need to do this so the system can identify which location each employee can clock in from.
Once completed, your employees can now clock in from MyEdge, the Employee Self Service App. You have successfully set up Time and Attendance for your business.
